Floor Lamps

Floor lamps are the perfect companion for easy chairs or recliners. They are easy to place near a chair where someone will sit to read, do needlework or other activities that require good illumination. They sometimes come with arms that can be positioned to gain the best lighting effects. Other models have a light shaped to throw light upward from the pole, creating the general effect of non-directional lighting. Most are equipped with a weighted foot to help prevent the lamp from tipping. Close attention should be paid to electric usage, some can pull more than others.
