Mia is a freelance bathroom designer and writer with over a decade of professional experience. From space planning, cabinetry, storage solutions, and tile design to hardware and fixture selections, she knows a thing about creating baths that strike a perfect balance between functionality and aesthetics.
Experience
As a graduate of the highly ranked UCLA design program, Mia enter the field at the highest standards of professional practice. Upon graduation in 2007, she worked for Carrier Johnson + Culture, a San Diego based architecture, design and branding firm, assisting the team on a variety of large scale residential and interior design projects. Then she spent two years working full time for a bath remodeling firm until starting her own business in 2011.
Over the years, Mia has had the opportunity to cooperate with some of the finest architects, designers and builders. This experience, combined with her eye for detail and a passion for quality, underpins her creation of highly functional and beautiful spaces.
Education
Mia received her training in interior architecture and design from University of California, which prides itself on the 3rd ranked CIDA-accredited interior design graduate program in the country. She has participated in numerous workshops and courses taught by some of the leading architects and designers in the US as well as in Europe.
