Designer Advice
Unlike most types of clocks, grandfather clocks require a decent amount of maintenance—this could be a downside for some. Firstly, you will need to regularly dust the unit from top to bottom, including the interior and glass door if any. Next, make sure to wind the clock once a week, depending on its winding requirements. Oiling the gears every two years is also a must to keep it running in smooth condition.
