This brass door stopper anchors to the floor with three evenly spaced screws in a circular base. The stem extends upward and provides a solid rubber cushioned surface for the door to stop against. However, you need to drill three screw holes into the floorboards or use a mounting bracket. Also, consider the height of the stopper and avoid slamming doors against the rubber piece as this may increase leverage.
