Generally, the seats should be between 24” to 26” tall for optimum comfort. In addition, there should be around 9” to 13” of leg space between the seat height and counter height.
Nonetheless, everyone has their own preferences so it’s best to pick an adjustable height counter stool if multiple people of different heights will be sitting on the stools. You may even want to invest in a wrought iron stool with a padded cushion, backrest, and footrest for an even more comfortable sitting experience.
