The pedestal base lends it a touch of elegance and ensures it won’t look disproportional even when the leaf is extended.
Designer Advice
Though all color combinations will achieve a rustic vibe, we recommend the almond/wheat combination as it’s the most versatile. Oxford-style chairs would look best due to their naturally more old-fashioned look – go for bleached wood to create a rich contrast. Alternatively, chairs with tapered legs will give your table less of a vintage vibe.
