Description

Mixing patterns in quilts is becoming more popular. Whilst they tend to be most common in reversible quilts, i.e. checks on one side and stripes on the other, there is no rule which says you can’t have both on one side.

You can also attempt to mix patterns yourself with the use of cushions, rugs, or blankets. Pairing different textures can have a striking effect on a bedroom, but always be careful to pick patterns with the same colors – placing red checks with yellow stripes would not create a calm or restful ambiance.
