Created for a client transitioning from British Columbia to Edmonton, this home was designed to be a sanctuary where she could "show up with [her] suitcase and crystals." The client herself became the muse for the entire project.

Rather than drawing from the architecture, 'Bramble' was shaped by our client's personal style. Her elegance and kindness are reflected in the soft curves of the kitchen island, custom round hardware on cabinetry, and the warm wood selections throughout the home.

Intricate Details
A standout feature is the staircase, a robust metal design combining three styles of stringers: western, mono, and hidden within the east wall. Reed glass panels soften the black metal, creating a delicate balance that connects to the den walls and pivot doors throughout the interior.

We used a minimal palette of finishes in varying ways to create distinctive yet harmonious spaces. Bathrooms feature smooth marble-like quartz slabs contrasted with textured tiles, softened by round or arched mirrors and playful lighting. This textured tile also appears on the den wall and living room fireplace, ensuring a cohesive aesthetic.

Our client's trust allowed us to fully execute our vision of a warm minimalist interior. The primary bedroom showcases silver elm wood cabinetry, texturized with vertical slats, serving as a headboard and emphasizing the island's curve.
