Floor mirrors are often tall, framed mirrors. Sometimes they are leaned against a wall or even mounted on it, but more often they are held up by a free-standing frame. This is handy if you do not have wall space for a full-length mirror. Why have a full-length mirror? Many reasons, but the biggest is usually so you can check your wardrobe before heading out the door in the morning. A mirror that shows your full body is also useful in self-perception if you are working on reshaping your personal physique, or if you are hoping for a particular effect from your costume of the day.
