Accent Furniture

Accent furniture often includes purely decorative pieces, such as plant stands or it can include a chair or couch that is not specifically part of a room suite. A comfortable chair placed so that the person seated there can see out a window, or a bench for removing boots or shoes could be classified as accent furniture. A display case would certainly be a piece of accent furniture since its purpose is to hold items to view. A blanket ladder would certainly be an accent, as would certain styles of towel holders in bathrooms or kitchens.
