A bunk bed desk is also called a loft desk. It is essentially a bunk bed with a desk integrated into it, at the bottom. In some instances the desk replaces the bottom bed. In other instances the bottom bed is still there.
Mark doesn't know it yet, but he's making this desk/art table/reading nook for Jordyn's room. I'm going to close in the bottom right and add a window seat/toy box to the right of the desk. Probably will add a little safety rail on the top too.
This would be the coolest room ever! Just take out the bottom bed, and use that space for storage. I'm so going to do this one day.

This would be SUPER cool if there was a door with stairs on the other side. The you could close the door and the sitting space would be gone. It would be a bed up top with stairs, making it really small! Perfect! :)
